This policy explains what information Afristar Media collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Information we collect

• Details you give us: your name, email address and phone number when you submit an enquiry, apply to join our team, or enrol in a course.
• Payment information: when you pay for a course we store your name, email, phone, the course, the amount and a payment reference. Card details are handled entirely by Paystack — we never see or store them.
• Technical data: your IP address and basic request information, kept for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry or quote your project.
• To confirm your payment and add you to your course community.
• To send you information about your course, schedules and materials.
• To protect the site against spam, fraud and abuse.

Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep forms secure (CSRF protection) and to remember your invoice reference while you complete payment. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Third parties

We share the minimum necessary data with Paystack to process payments, and with WhatsApp when you choose to contact us there. We do not sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months. Enrolment and payment records are kept for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@afristarmedia.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are protected against cross-site request forgery, all database queries use prepared statements, and access to our records is restricted to authorised staff.
